Facts do not become historical evidence until someone thinks up something for them to prove or disprove.

About This Quote

Facts do not become historical evidence until someone thinks up something for them to prove or disprove, and the person who thinks up the fact has the power to make the fact true or false. The same goes for people. We can choose to make something true or false. The human brain is amazing and we can easily believe in things that are made up.

We all believe in things like aliens and Bigfoot because we want to. We make up stories and then we use them as facts because we want them to be true. The problem with this is that we can’t seem to accept that we don’t know everything and people often try to convince you of things that aren’t true.
